PILATES CLASSES
Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm
These mat classes are the floor work version of the Pilates method. These classes take place in a small group setting emphasizing the foundational principles of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each students individual needs. Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of muscles which stabilaze your spine and pelvis, resulting in strong, flexible spine with ideal posture, alignment and muscular balance. Learn how to identify your own weaknesses and imbalances and work with them to restore healthier movement.
YOGA CLASSES
Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm
Saturdays 9:00-10:00am
Each class will include a number of poses with the breath, which will improve muscle tone, increase strength, improve posture, and contribute to flexibility, coordination and balance. The classes will also include specific exercises for the care and maintenance of the back, and practice of proven relaxation techniques. All levels of fitness are welcome. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace.
